is for you girls out there who love hotrods and don't mind to get dirty or break a nail while customizing and tuning your own car. Here you will find comfortable yet feminine workwear to make you look sexy under the hood and on top of it.
 
Dragstrip Dollies
is for those girls who love hotrods too but won't be caught dead with grease under their nails. This line will be continuously updated with girly and feminine styles referring to the 30's, 40's and 50's of the past century.
 
History of Hotrod Hussy
It all started at an early age... I loved to play dress up. The neighbours had a huge trunk filled with old Halloween costumes that I could play with for hours. By the time I grew into puberty, Madonna hit the charts and introduced me to Marilyn Monroe and that fabulous old Hollywood glam.
Because I could never find what I was looking for in stores I decided to go to college to learn the art of tailoring myself. I had a crush on the hot young designers of the 80's and 90's but in the end my heart stayed true to the feminine silhouettes of decades long gone.
Although I went through many fashion fads the classic feminine and the punkrock styles kept lingering and finally on a holiday in New Orleans I discovered a style that caters to both. The retroclassy punkrock dolly girl. Everything I love in one style; cute and bold, pink and black, red lipstick and customized cars, high heels and tattoos, bows, frills, leopard print and patent leather. And so Hotrod Hussy was born.
 
Loving the past, living in the future!
Where possible I try to recycle and think of the envirnoment. I love rummaging through end of roll fabrics, vintage haberdasheries and jewellery parts. I also like to make new items from old garments. That is why some of my items have a limited availability.
